Garage Door Threshold Seal Kit ¾" High

Our ¾” high garage door threshold seal kit is designed to keep your garage clean and dry. The product is the ideal solution for any garage that experiences a lot of rainfall throughout the year. It will make sure that your garage withstands the rain coming its way because it acts as a garage door water stop. This also applies to any debris that may be flying in such as leaves, and any dust so if you live in a particularly hot area where there’s a lot of dust, this garage door floor seal will help prevent that.

The threshold is available in a variety of different lengths, and the height is ¾" and the width is 4¹⁄₃”. The lengths span from 8’3” to 50’ (16.67 yards), which will cover most if not all garage doors, but please be sure to measure the length of your garage door before purchasing this product. If it’s slightly larger that will be fine as the material can be cut through to match the length and opening.

Will this product work with my garage door?

This garage door water stopper can be used on roller shutter doors, side-hinged doors, up-and-over and sectional doors with absolutely no problem. This is true for any commercial and domestic garage doors not mentioned above. It is a very simple product to use and apply even on uneven floors. If you are looking for a taller seal because your garage door's gap is a little larger than ¾" then you might want to look at our other seals for example the 1¼" garage door seal.

This seal has a weight limit of 6000 lbs, making it suitable for most cars and small vehicles. It should not be used with forklift trucks, pallet trucks, lorries, vans, tractors etc., and should not be used in high traffic areas such as parking garages. 

How does this garage door threshold seal work?

All our residential threshold seals work by forming a watertight seal between the floor and threshold using the included sealant and adhesive. When this has been done, the seal then prevents water, whether rain or flooding, from getting inside the garage up to ¾ in height. This also reduces the amount of condensation build up so if your garage is a workshop with tools, it will also shield them from rusting or at least delay the natural process.

While it’s effectiveness as a garage water stopper is unmatched, it also helps you by preventing heat escaping from the garage which in turn can help to reduce your energy costs throughout the colder months of the year. It can also work as an effective rodent repellent by making sure there’s no opening for rats or other critters to make their way inside.

What material is this threshold seal made of?

This product and all the other residential threshold seals are made from entirely recyclable PVC material, which is not only environmentally friendly but also durable. As opposed to rubber door thresholds, this product will not crack or discolor because of the weather conditions. It is UV stable which means excessive sunlight will not affect it at all aside from making it a little warm.
